My wife came along to do the driving and do some sight seeing.  We met up every night.

The next day consisted of a 6 hour drive from Balloch Scotland, to
Welton, in the Yorkshire Wolds, to begin my next adventure.

We checked into The Green Dragon in Welton, where this was painted on the wall outside the door to the pub.
A wander around Welton after dinner, took us to St. Helen's Church.
We landed in Glasgow, Scotland, and drove to Balloch.
We had one final favor to do for my wife's parents, before we could enjoy our trip.
